 Barker Mill apartment
London 1992
This is a conversion of an apartment on the South Bank of the river Thames between Albert Bridge and Battersea Bridge. The intervention opens up the north-south axis, flanked on one side by the long stretch of a floating white wall through which the cityscape projects, uninterrupted, from one end of the flat to the other. The items of furniture throughout the apartment are all one-off designs, as are the fixtures and fittings.
